Fantastic site! Great access on the main road and into the site, bit tight if you pull right up to the line as per the sign. Very nicely presented upon arrival and again the wardens were very friendly. Site was well kept with no drainage issues and there appears to be a little hedge separating evey couple of caravans which added to your privacy a nice touch. The site is well protected from the wind so even when it is a little breezy you hardly notice it. A nice small and compact site that is well kept and cleaned. Apparently a small museum on site in the old goods in shed that used to belong to the heritage line almost within. Touching distance. You can hear and seen them go past, just brilliant! The heritage line is good value at £30 per adult and £10 for children, the volunteers were superbly well dressed and attentive, highly recommend it if your staying. The village centre boasts a coop a chip shop and other restaurants. I'll be back for sure!
Good site. Facilities were good and clean. Had to park as usual between pegs that for some campers appears to be a problem. Easy enough. Weather not that good so didn't use the awning or sit outside. Really good dog walk in wooded area where the dog can be let off to run about. Very handy for the local heritage railway. We only stayed one night so didn't get a chance to try it. Maybe another time.
We visited a week before Christmas with snow and ice on the ground. I was very impressed with the team and facilities. In the bitter cold of a winter's day, the shower block was warm and very clean with staff working really hard in support of limited visitors. The site is a great location for a short walk into the quaint Cotswold village. We will return in warmer months to enjoy everything the site and surrounding area have to offer.
A lovely peaceful CAMC site, close to a beautiful village and entrance right opposite a filling station, so any urgent purchases can be made in its small shop. Facilities of the usual high standard, with the added interest of two historic caravans being well displayed in the Heritage railway's former train shed, which now includes a ladies and gent's ablution facilities. Although heavy rain was forecast it came after dusk, but you can't predict that!
Fantastic site, the facilities are excellent, wardens were great and very helpful. The caravan display is a unique and very interesting feature on the site. The steam railway is terrific, Broadway is a lovely village to explore with a number of great walks. We must visit again.
Such a wonderful site. The wardens are very very. Friendly and as we are staying on site Christmas eve and Christmas day and boxing day we will definitely be back. P.s. the wardens have just come around wishing us all a very merry Christmas and a little drink and mince pies and sweets. To help us celebrate Christmas . Thank you to the wardens
Well kept site with very nice wardens. Steam train runs past the site. Useful local shop opposite the gate. Walk into town approximately a mile. Two or three evenings a week a catering van delivers prepared meals e.g. steak and chips.
A lovely location to walk into the charming village of Broadway, with nice country walks available on the doorstep too. Whilst some may not like the road noise, I personally found it a relaxing site with the usual facilities you would expect
What a great site ! Very friendly welcome and lovely gentleman at the gate , sorry we didn’t get your name . Excellent facilities , immaculate toilets and showers . Lovely little play area our grandson loved . Fabulous to see a food van there on Friday night . Unfortunately we had booked in at The Swan , which is a 10 minutes walk into Broadway , please take a torch for your return . Already booked for a night in May . Can’t wait to return . Thank you ! Wonderful site within walking distance of the charming town of Broadway. The restored railway line runs alongside.
