Extremely frustrating to deal with. Seems their ability to address common sense is outweighed by their obnoxious, aggressive ‘I’ll do it my way attitude’. Ben in TPO Department whilst friendly is pretty clueless, better off asking Google for an answer. Actually don’t waste your time just take it straight to an appeal. The people you deal with in Wales as a result are far more approachable and actually talk sense.
Recently received help from Jane Bagley who without fault is the most helpful, kind and efficient person I've been able to deal with. Definitely has a high standard of customer service and care. Thank you Jane for all your hard work!
I have a council tax exemption which I have to confirm again every year. This year I tried to use their website to do it but it was impossible as it did not recognise the reference number on the letter So I sent the confirmation form off. Only to get a letter a month later saying they haven't heard from me. So I spent about 12 minutes on hold. Spoke to someone who founded greatly amusing that she couldn't hear me properly. Completely useless and actually discriminatory because I am disabled and going through this makes life so much harder. THEY NEED TO DO BETTER.
Heavy rain and sky light window is leaking. My newborn got soaked because its 5 in the morning and i was asleep called emergency repair and got hung up, called a second time to be told its not an emergency call back after 9am and put a towel in my window, which I can't as it's a ceiling window. Also told that they may not come straight out and may have to wait a few days so need to get a bucket as this doesn't count as a emergency repair and if its still raining when they turn up they won't do anything
Absolutely useless and completely unhelpful and God forbid you try to pay your council tax over the phone while talking to there staff they are rude hang up on you and never ask for your freedom of information as you won't get it from them ever. Absolutely shocking council
I recently contacted Broadland Council's business support team and spoke with Jane Bagley who dealt with my query quickly and efficiently. She explained what I needed to know and how to proceed, offering further guidance and support should I need it. I found Jane's advice extremely helpful and her approach was professional.
Tried to call multiple times, people kept transferring me because they didn’t want to deal with the queries. Got put on hold multiple times until they hung up on me completely. Absolute disgrace

Nasty bully's. Staff bad mouth people asking for help. Typical tories.
Tried phone last Thursday, put through reception , three times-line cut out
