"Brixworth Country Park is a small countryside space, with recreational facilities, woodland walks, hard path trails, and wildlife areas. Our team of two rangers patrol the park, and the nearby Brampton Valley Way. We work on shift over 7 days, between 09:00 and 17:00.The Ranger's Office is located to the left of the public WCs and Rutland Cycling, but as we have much to do in the park we are not always found there. In the event of an emergency, please try our office on 0300 126 5932 for ranger support, if the emergency is life-threatening, please call 999."

Nice place to go with young children for some fresh air. There are some nice walking trails but also some park/ play area's for younger children.
Lovely place to visit. Parking reasonably priced, a latte was £2.85. Kids loved the play areas and some gorgeous views over the reservoir on the trails.
Lovely park. Lots of walks, nature trails. Several different play parks. Café, toilets. Plenty of parking. 3.50 for 4hours. Not bad but not as good as East Carlton parking free there. Pleasant walk by Pitsford Water. Some lovely dragonflies by the pond. I took a pic-nic and it made a cheap day out.
The country park is scenic with a large play area for children, parking will cost you buy it should last a minimum of 4 hours. If you get bored of the walk or cycle routes in the country park there are a couple gates to let you onto the walk that goes around it! Though it is a bit of a trek.
This is one of a number of local parks mananaged by the County Council and is definitely worth a visit for walking near water, running, sailing and fishing. Cafe, toilet facilities and cycle hire all here. Even on a cloudy morning it's still a great place!
This place is huge, we've been there twice but just for small walks, but you can do so many things there.. At the entrance there are few shops where you could grab a coffee or a icecream inside or outside. There are bike paths around the lake and also if you don't have you own renting is always an option. Kids playground is quite generous . This place is animal friendly and they are fighting to save our environment If you just looking for a relax day there is plenty space to have a picnic by the lake. This place is animal friendly , there are actually small birds houses in the trees, and they are fighting to save our environment I recommend it for everyone who loves nature
Beautiful place!! Would highly recommend. There is plenty of picnic area to put your mat and soak up the sun. A play area for Children with lots of sand,a lake view, a cafe lots to walk around to soak in the fresh air! The only thing I would say is Parking spaces are a bit limited. So would recommend going a bit early to secure a spot. We waited for 15 mins till someone left and then got a parking spot. All on all a delightful and great experience!
Dogs loved it, great facilities, lovely food served at the cafe. Didn't expect to spend 4 hours there, time flys when you are having fun
What a really nice place to visit. The lake and wildlife just makes Brixworth Country Park a lovely place to take the family out for the day. My partner and I spent a couple of hours there just walking around and taking in the views...
A great place to walk with children. a lot of playgrounds for children and roads for walking. But the cafe was very upsetting for us because the children ordered pizza and the pizza was terrible in appearance and taste. but the potatoes were good.
