This was our first time buying a newish car and the whole process from start to finish was excellent, they even made our little doggy feel welcome. All extras were fully explained and they even sorted the tinted windows we requested as extra. The whole team were friendly and welcoming, everything was well explained, we didn,t feel pressured into a sale and they answereed all questions and queries. Definitely no pushy salespeople. Big thanks to Adam Johnson and the rest of the team. We'll definitely be back when it's time for another change. Only had the car a day but loving it so far. Thanks again
I financed a car with nissan illkeston for my wife and they agreed to fully serviced the car and deliver it to me to Plymouth . As you can see in pictures they delivered the car to me with horrible brake discs condition, horrible front pads , unchanged air filter and oil filter . And when i complained they said if im not happy with the car i have to return it to them in illkeston ! I have been to kwikfit plus 3 other places and they checked my brake discs and front pads . Nissan illkeston said its up to their standards and car is serviced very well . They told me other garages are trying to make money out of me . I managed to talk with them after 3 days of our delivery as they were unavailable! When they want to sell you they keep calling you every 10 minutes and once you got a problem with your car its almost impossible to get rid of them . It’s not my first time financing cars , I was a ranger rover customer at the Rogeryoung in Plymouth for years and i had same problems with serviced things but they sorted it out for me very quick and satisfied me .it will be my last time dealing with vertu . They made £1200 commission on the contract with me . And im awaiting for their email for 3 days now ! : i have to spend hundreds of pounds now on brake discs in incoming month. maybe I am wrong but I’ve got a question from all of you. Do you think is it up to the standard? :
AVOID AVOID Nissan Ilkeston as they have no care. In fact AVOID Nissan as a Brand altogether check Trustpilot reviews. I Had a brand new vehicle end off November and had faults and paint issues marks etc. the areas in question would not have been able to come from the road debris as were they were. They also don’t look after you vehicle when it’s with them either. So After weeks of being with them for repairs the inside was very dirty and scuff marks all over the indoor car doors and steering wheel when came to collect. They never fixed the issues reported either and one work they carried out with a company called ready for retail body shop is absolutely awful. They were not a Nissan approved. James also stated twice that they are no such thing as a Nissan approved body shop. Well well another lie as there are at least 6 Nissan approved body shops around the Nottingham area and I have been in contact with three off them. Please See all photos off faults including pictures off paint work repair & how my vehicle came back to dirty and additional marks and scuffs.nJames the manager is a manipulative bully & threatening that if I refused to pick the vehicle back up he would charge me compound charges to the vehicle so it left me no choice to collect. He is also a lire regarding parking sensor fault stating it was the cold snap that was the cause only to find out water ingress got inside some connections. But even that they have no clue on how this could off happened on a vehicle that was only 6 weeks old. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks in all and the problem still remains. The service ladies are also very rude and I’ve now taken this matter to high court with the ombudsman service for paint work carried out, still parking sensor fault still vehicle changing from mph to kph most off the timenBasically don’t buy a Nissan and definitely not from this branch. Photos don’t lie so see for yourself before making a purchase with them.nJust to add that Bristol street motors customer service team could care less about my complaint regarding this dealership. If I could not give a star I would as they don’t even deserve that.
Had a great experience recently buying a Nissan Juke from Vertu Ilkeston. Karl was friendly, attentive and ready to help with any concerns along the way. Communication was top tier, with him even sending along video messages to keep me updated. When I picked the car up, it had been cleaned to a high standard and they'd even filled it with half a tank of petrol for me! Would definitely recommend
As a vehicle delivery driver it's important for us to get turned around as quick as possible, for deliveries or collections. Many dealerships I have visited over the years do not do this but Nissan Ilkeston always does without any issues. All the Sales staff I have met are absolutely wonderful and so friendly. This is one of my favourite dealerships I have the pleasure to work with.
