I highly recommend this pub to everyone. They are serving fresh and tasty food, and have great choices of drinks. The whole atmosphere of the pub is very pleasant and relaxing. Staff including the management are very friendly, caring and attentive towards their customers. They must have a high quality chef and kitchen staff, as the food they are making is lovely and everything is clean. You will definitely enjoy this lovely pub in many ways.
Pub- generally quiet at the times we have been, not been really late into the evening though. There is 2 different places to est/ drink at the front or back so lots of options for sun or shade. You can sit inside too but good to have options. The food is generic what you'd expect but we enjoyed our vegan plant burgers and came today with our 4 year old. They have a kids menu too. Also a nice selection of lagers, IPAs etc. Would recommend the Legend on a sunny day plus its vegan. Mondays and Tuesdays currently they have a beer and burger for 10.95 option so saves a few quid. Vegetarian options: There is vegan options marked on the main menu although you'll have to look up the drinks as it doesn't tell you that! Parking: Park at Chapel Lane car park - its right there
We were bought Gin Experience and booked Poole Brewhouse and Kitchen in Poole. An excellent afternoon Spencer did the Gin Tasting which was excellent he was so interesting. Followed by a lovely meal in lovely surroundings. A great afternoon all round and the beer was good too!!!!!!!
Good quality lunch served with a smile. Great spicy Buffalo Wings followed by a Bang Bowl, crispy chicken with a great slaw and Habanero Mayo, lovely! All served in good time by attentive and friendly staff. Sadly both driving so the legendary beer choice couldn't be enjoyed but past visits confirm this is one of the finest in any establishment. Thanks guys!
Had the Sunday roast , my wife had beef and I had half a chicken and the only thing on the plates that was hot was the roast potatoes , everything else was only lukewarm . The broccoli was overcooked and was going yellow in places , so past it's best . I had a pint of B&K beer which being happy hour is £3.95 a pint and I was charged full price £6.10 . Being mothering Sunday there was an offer for mum's to receive a free gin & tonic and a miniature bottle of gin but you had to ask for it , and mum's who were in the restaurant and didn't know about the offer weren't offered it . The beer and the G&T were good and they did refund one of the roasts and the money overcharged on the beer after we complained . None of the staff had come to ask us if the meal was okay after they had served it , so not the best experience for a nice meal on mothering Sunday ! Won't be rushing back there anytime soon .
Great atmosphere but it was a shame it took an hour between starters being served and the main courses. The main course was not hot for any of us and the steaks were too tough. The waiting staff were very attentive and polite. Shame the main course hadn't been kept hot and took so long to be served.
We visited for Christmas day and it was amazing. The food was really good, the staff were incredible and it was good value for money. Thank you to all the staff for working Christmas day and making our dinner wonderful. Oh, and thanks for the pictures of the hippo!!Food: 5/5
Death by cauliflower wings! First time visit. I decided to go "small plates" 6x chicken wings Beer-b-cue and 6x buffalo. The chicken was tender and the sauce great! But the cauliflower... Absolutely most tender ones I've ever had and the size of a tennis ball. Be wary if you go for 10... You'll need room! Good environment, welcoming staff. Nyah was great and on the ball for us. She was a great server.
Really enjoyed this event - thanks so much to the B&K for putting this on, I'm a converted beer drinker now having actually discovered some which I liked! We all agreed the Black IPA was the best standalone beer, and I was surprised when I discovered how well the Brewery Arms best bitter went with the delicious food we had for lunch. Euan was an absolute star - you've got a good one there B&K so hang onto him! He was informative and looked after us very well. We learnt a lot about the history of brewing - especially how the idea of a 'witch' came about - google it, fascinating stuff! Looking forward to returning in a month's time to taste the Frogs of War beer we brewed on the day - thanks again, highly recommended.
So we went here after Googleing it on the map for brewhouses to go to. The staff were unclear to us about how to order food and drink but lots of handsanitiser to use. This without out releasing was 25% off on wednesday for food. We had a flight of beer and a beer chicken. This was very tasty, i had it with corn on cob and chips and was more then enough. The stout was lovely aswell. Recommend coming here. Oh and dog friendly.
