We had the buffet breakfast. £18 for two adults and two children. The staff were very friendly and the food very reasonable. There was always plenty out. The buffet includes juices and hot drinks. We had a really nice meal which will keep us going all day.

The Brewers Fayre was a bit of a disappointment. Although the menu is extensive, what you get served is very samey and for the type of establishment it sells itself as - quite expensive. You will pay more than Wetherspoons and their menu is more extensive. I started with a baked brie which was hidden under the garnish. It was a bit tasteless. Main course was a big juicy 14 ounce rib eye steak for £16.99. It was OK, properly cooked but nothing to shout about. I also waited 20 minutes for my main course. Total cost for a starter, main course and a pint of San miguel was £26. Pricey and nothing special. Also found the background music was too obtrusive. Not everyone likes wall to wall Taylor Swift and related pop!

I had 3 weeks here, it was comfortable, I tried the whole menu, and and lot of the beers. My only fault is it is very noisy when you are in bed with the A1 one side and the A14 the other side... And a 24hour fuel station where lorrys change trailers all-night..

It was really nice and the chicken burger was amazing. My little sister enjoyed her chicken nuggets too. 5 stars!! 😊
