Blood test done this morning. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Thanks to the lovely lady that helped me out.
Went there for a blood test. I waited for about 10-15 minutes after the scheduled slot and was quickly attended to. Unlike the usual one to one, it's a huge room where there are multiple people doing the tasks. Usually the waiting time is quite short. Great experience having my blood taken, it went smoothly. Only thing was, the appointment said Breeze Hill Medical Center but the building stated Breeze Hill Neighborhood Health Center so I was confused by the naming. Also, the opening hours on Google maps said they are closed on Sundays so I wasn't sure if they were really operating. However, I can now confirm they are open on Sundays for blood tests on the first floor.
I have been advised at my registration appointment that for an appointment the time is key. I started phoning exactly at 8am and for 20 min no answer so I decided to go personally. Nobody on the desk for 10/15 min ish. At the moment to ask the appointment, 835am, the lady said “no more available for today, sorry. Come back tomorrow”. I explained the situation that I do work in the night time and I’m fresh like roses and I did still followed the procedures. The moral of the story is the service need to be improve. Thank you
Very happy that we moved over to this Health Centre. Prompt appointments, caring staff and our doctor at the end of a 12 hour day still manages to find the time to ring up for a telephone consultation. Recommended. ____________________________ I'll be using a different Phlebotomy service in future though. Two people booked in - one male and one female, one person the nurse in charge personally knows. Nurse comes out and barks "What is your name?" I reply with my surname. Nurse gets flustered and then starts a harrangment throughout the whole of the session regarding names. Good job that the waiting room wasn't crammed with all the chairs being occupied.
Tried calling multiple times but they never answer the phone
it was not possible to make an appointment by phone in November. Either busy or no response. When I came in person to order, there was a cheerful mood at the reception and private calls were taking place! When I told them I couldn't call and what I wanted, they told me to go home and keep trying! Very unprofessional approach! I think people who don't want to do it definitely shouldn't do it! But there are also employees who deserve praise.
Good luck trying to get an appointment. They tell you you have to call up at 8 to get the chance for a GP to call you back later; so you’re up, 7:50, make a brew, start calling a little early just in case. Nope. 8:00 comes, you call. Nope. You get confused, is it 8:00 or 8:30, you keep calling. Doesn’t even ring, just says “user busy” 8:30 comes and you’re sat there scratching your head, still no, not even hold music, the call doesn’t even connect. If this is your registered GP then I strongly advise looking into other options. For years getting an appointment at Breeze Hill has been like getting an audience with the Queen. I’d have rather waited in the Queens funeral queue than have to try to call here again. Now, I can’t blame the staff as they likely dread 8am every morning as the 1000s of calls come in. The sad thing is, that’s the only option and they likely have 0 funding to do anything about it.
Arrived at 18:15 hrs, Monday 24th July after a long drive from West Yorkshire, after checking on 'Google' for opening/closing hours, to be told I need an appointment which wasn't mentioned on 'Google'. Their response was 'we need to update the information'. Very, very disappointed with the whole situation. TRACEY O'REGAN.
Had bloods done and the nurse was so friendly and had such light hands that I didn’t feel any type of discomfort. Would definitely have bloods done there again.
This possibly has to be the worst nhs service. This doctors pre pandemic was chocker no I have never seen more than two people in waiting room always full booked I rang the other day asked for appointment full booked walked in there was empty. Then to be told I need to stay off work by the staff and lose pay to be able to attend doctors staff rude. Wow
