One of the best libraries I've been to. Very useful place . Great for kids as well as they hold nursery rhyme sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays , and Saturdays at 10 am. I take my kids there as much as I can. You can also collect recycling bags , and also be able to borrow items such as musical instruments, appliances etc from there. Toilet is also clean. Staff are very friendly in general. This place is a Good source of information
Excellent library in the centre of Braintree. A really valuable resource for all and a great hub for community.

Absolutely amazing place, plenty of useful and popular literature, spacious, inspirational, peaceful, at the very heart of the town centre. Place where you can take your kids on a playing session Saturdays, or you can even borough a guitar if wanna start playing...
Staff always helpful, used to go to Daddy cool with my little girl every Saturday morning.
Great modern library, and professional staff, but why on earth is there a class of toddlers singing "wheels on the bus"and other popular kids songs, in a quiet reading environment, are there no other venues, this is a quiet place, not pre school.
I work in libraries in London and cannot fault this place excellent services and range of books. Staff are excellent and always polite and helpful. Love their dinosaur at the entrance made from recycled materials! Need more board books though for the little 'uns!
I went to the library today. Staff were very noisy standing together talking and laughing loudly, obviously they had nothing to do There was only one member of staff who seemed actually interested in working. I was trying to concentrate on the computer but was difficult with all the noise I thought libraries were meant to be quiet places!!!!
I reserve books online then wait for a text message/email to inform me the book is ready to collect. 1st class with friendly helpful staff
