My current water fountain pump, which I had bought some years ago from Bradshaws, had seized & wouldn't work so I revisited Bradshaw for a replacement. They stock a vast variety of pumps to cater for most requirements with a lot on display. I was quickly shown a catalogue with a picture of a possible replacement & after checking the specification the salesman brought a unit from the stores. I was able to ensure that the pump would fit into the fountain sump & be under water. There was only another couple of customers in the shop & they were being shown samples from the display. Parking was restricted but the shop is on the ground floor with wheel chair access.
Good selection of pond plants and fish. Nice garden benches and chairs. Unfortunately didn't have the pond pump we wanted but a good selection.
Recently purchased an Eazypod which comes with a free pump. Pump was delivered but no filter. Website said in stock at time of ordering. No indication of filter being out of stock on the paperwork or no confirmation by email. The despatch email didn't say anything was out of stock and I'm now waiting on a response to me chasing it up 2 full days ago. I hope to hear soon and not have to ask for refund and go elsewhere. Despatch time was reasonable, but could have been more than 3 stars if there was some kind of communication. EDIT! I have now made this 5 stars. Soon after leaving my first review I received an email, out of office hours too on a Friday evening about 9pm, with apologies for the missing filter and was told I would receive very soon. And, as their promise, it was delivered today. Many thanks Rachel for your quick assistance in resolving my issue. 5 star review now. Very good service.
They advised me on a pump and filter for my small pond as well as recommended some sachets to improve the water. My green soup pond is now clear 2 weeks later. They even advised me by email after my purchase. Excellent service. Thank you!!
Just had a bunch of items delivered. One of which was oxygenating weed. This arrived mostly rotten. What little bit we got. Another was Aqua Pure slow release bacteria pellets. The top of the pot had at some point come off and most of the pellets were lining the bottom of the bag the goods came in which soaked everything including the catalogue. I am very disappointed.
Excellent customer service. Had some problems with a liner for a pond, however, a call to customer service progressed the problem and they called back when they said they would. Will use them again, definitely recommend them. Online delivery is very quick. Well stocked shop also.
On ordering a water feature I was called to say they only had display model. I agreed to purchase that and was offered a discount. However, maybe due to handling during transportation it was cracked. The lights in it did not work either. Contacted customer service by email and got an immediate, courteous response from Rachel. She asked if I would send pictures of the damage. Got an email straight back saying they would refund completely. Very happy with level of customer service and so ordered a different model which I was notified will be delivered tomorrow. Thank you for excellent customer service.
Great selection of goods & pond fish, convenient location if you're visiting with a car. If you're collecting something you've pre-ordered double check you've been given the correct goods. Our order was wrong but the staff in the shop were very helpful and rectified the problems.
I sent an email to their customer service almost 2 weeks ago asking for some advice on which pump they would recommend me to buy for my water feature and have not had any reply from them. I was hoping to be able to write a positive review of Bradshaws Direct but the lack of any response means I will need to get some advice and buy elsewhere. A shame!
Ordered a pond liner on Thursday morning at 10.15am. Saw they did a 48hr delivery service perfect should be there Saturday morning ready for the bank holiday weekend. Didn't turn up so called customer couldn't careless service today Tuesday. And was told that there is a note in small writing under delivery saying "restrictions may apply" and if I'd click on this it would have told me that they don't deliver on Saturday and Sunday's. So 48hr delivery only applies if you order Monday to Wednesday and next day delivery Monday to Thursday. Good old small print won't be ordering from these people again
