Story

Established in 1996 we are a family owned award & winning small West Country café chain who pride ourselves on serving outstanding coffee & tea as well as creating delicious, feel good & affordable meals. Our ethics are incredibly important to us & to the running of our cafés. We aim to source ethically sound products from local suppliers & we use only free range meat and eggs in our meals. All our milk is 100% organic & we offer either fairly traded or ‘relationship’ coffee. We are of course very family friendly.

Just love this place. Bankable and 
consistent coffee, super homemade cakes and the service is great. Coffee brought to the table with a smile, nice gentle explanation of the coffees on offer. Rather than the production line atmosphere of the mass market brands this is so comfy by comparison. Hope you like it as much as I do. Starbucks can only dream of making you want to stay longer.

Excellent atmosphere, with really nice staff that actually know about coffee.  I had a sausage and egg bap. At first I thought it was a bit expensive, and then it arrived, 2 proper sausages in a beautiful granary bap with a perfectly poached egg; wonderful. The coffee is top notch and the cakes on display looked to die for. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, or tea.

A fairly typical village/small town tea room.  A very good selection of teas and coffee with good size cakes.  Polite and attentive staff too.
