Overly difficult to find. Staff were friendly at first but constantly buggered off for 20/30 mins at a time meaning we lost 30 mins rehearsal time waiting for basic equipment that should be available from the get go drum stand etc. Room can only be described as a shoe cupboard. Amps nailed down and situated in such a way for optimum feedback so great if you enjoy complete loss of hearing. As a band who usually bring own amps etc for rehearsals we weren't expecting much from a last minute booking at an relatively unknown studio to us, however the absolute basic level of quality was completely missing. The old borough studios wasn't great but it's gone way down hill since reopening and the prices have somehow gone up by quite a bit. Also i should say the room we booked asked for largest available was given to another band despite us being on time and we were still charged for it. No apology from staff, however to paraphrase the response... 'no worries mate, the other room is just as shite.' On arrival the staff even told us it was a temporary accomodation until they can reopen in the old location, so it's a mystery they can charge that fee. They dont even have a toilet, just a portaloo thing outside not a major issue for us by any means, but is indicitive of the quality and size of the place The rooms are only suitable for solo rehearsal or 2/3 piece indy or pop punk bands. If you play anything else don't bother trying.
I bloody love this place. The staff are SO helpful and brilliant. The room I used was small like people say but we had 5 of us including drummer and it was fine! Highly recommend!
Great studios that are reasonably priced for Central London. Being within 2 mins of the Tube station is a massive plus and with a good quality backline it's our favourite rehearsal space by far. Very friendly and helpful staff who will go the extra mile to help you out.
Are you joking? A room the size of a large coffin, with guitar amps incapable of creating any sort of distortion. It's not asking much is it? Well apparently so- and at £80 per rehearsal, I think it's safe to say I will never be returning there
Equipment and staff are fantastic. They even post on social media in support of bands that practice there. However, the rooms can be very small and are expensive.
Great gear and soundproofing mean Vineyard pack a lot into their relatively small rooms. Our preferred choice in zone one.
One of the best rehearsal spaces I've used in London — thoroughly recommended and a great service too.
Small rooms; decent equipment. Lacks the authentic rehearsal room odour, but prepared to forgive that.
Soundproofing isn't their forte but if you're looking for cheap rehearsal space that doesn't smell like a squat then this is the place for you.
No answer from the telephone, I thought to walk over and take a look around. As far as I could tell it doesn't exist, as I could find no signage or labels on various doorways in the Vineyard.
