Story

Toynbee Studios is Artsadmin's unique centre for the development and presentation of new work.

The studios comprise a 280-seat theatre, rehearsal spaces, technical facilities, and the Arts Bar & Café, all of which host performances and events throughout the year. Office facilities are also provided for a range of small arts organisations.

Warm and welcoming reception, funky cafe with Wi-Fi to get work done with a coffee and a pastry. The outdoor space is phenomenal - hidden gem in Aldgate East!
It's a very positive experience being there. the people are helpful and friendly, the Venue itself is well kept and tidy, food is amazing and the people are absolutely fantastic.
So much more than an organisation providing admin for the arts which they do extremely well. This is also a hub for artists and the people who love them, with rehearsal space, auditorium, cafe, rich schedule of events including performances, lectures, workshops.
Fanatic producing and presenting organisation which has worked with many superb artists over the years. Rehearsal studios are also available. Look out for all their artists support initiatives too.
The best coffees, cakes and pastries in the postcode in a friendly atmosphere.
Good place for workshops and a lovely cafe for a chat and coffee
