It was the most thorough eye test that I have ever experienced and i came away feeling extremely pleased. The optician discussed and explained everything really well and she really knew her stuff. The equipment at her disposal was extremely good. The team were all very helpful and undertook other tests such as eye pressure and peripheral vision extremely competently. The team leader then helped me choose new frames and made very good suggestions. I am looking forward to receiving my new glasses and will definitely use Boots opticians in future.
Brilliant friendly staff across the whole experience of eye test. Best opticians I have used in 30 years of wearing glasses. No purchase pressure everything explained clearly. My opticians for future.
Very friendly, helpful and didn't make me feel rushed to choose new glasses. Everything was explained to me throughout the appointment. I felt like a person rather than just a number walking through the door.
The testing and optician advice was very satisfactory. However, on recommendation I bought some eye drops for £10+. Have since found the drops to be just an empty container, and will now have to travel the 10 miles back to Saffron Walden for exchange or refund.
I find it appalling that have been trying to have my contact lenses check since Nov but Saffron Walden only do contact checks from 4pm and living rurally I explained that I do not like driving in the dark unless there is no choice. Despite my going into the store in Dec for my normal eye test, they refused to book an optician to do contacts unless I went in after 4pm. Why could the optician I saw on that day not dothd test on another morning? What on Earth is this! They held on to my lenses as always, unril I was seen ! I am in the cobtact lens scheme and have been for 8 yrs and finally after they called ne last week to say they were withholding my lenses, they agreed to a noon appointment? However, had been adamant for months that I could not be seen until after 4pm. tThe appointment miraculously becane available when I said I would go as I did last yr to Spec Savers and pay when I get free checks being in the Boots' scheme. Low and behold a noon appointment appeared for yesterday ! They are a dreadfully officious lot in SW. Opticians are fine but the staff !!!!
Rashid was the best optician that I have had, he explained things in great detail and was very efficient. I hope he is there in two years time when my next check is due.
Very professional, and I felt confident my eyes were correctly diagnosed, I ordered a Boots frame which was sensibly priced.
Because all members of staff were excellent and I was a bit scared of having this eye test,but when I came out,I was like why didn't I do that sooner, probably one of the best hours I've spent on a health issue,learnt some things as well.
My sight history is complex, so getting my sight with glasses is never simple. Hemma was very patient and thorough, making me fell confident that my new glasses will be right for my needs.
Nice friendly, small but efficient Boots Optician Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, excellent eye check up and tests. Good advice and recommendations.
