Full review on Instagram: @hungrybelly.blog Right, this place is great. The ambience is lovely and the food is amazing. It's small Plates and may appear prices bit its so Filling. You will not be let down!
Super yummy Indian food! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff as well. All the dishes were really good with the highlights being the duck kathi roll and the dal makhani. Good veggie options as well and most curries are served with either rice or naan. Would highly recommend!
Trendy place, my partner and I loved our dinner here. Service was attentive, shared the right amount of information about our food and drinks and gave us time and space to let us enjoy our meal. They were wearing their masks correctly and followed covid guidelines which should be a standard these days but unfortunately it not always is. We found the food and flavours to be very special - would come back.
A cute modern Indian restaurant tucked in a quiet corner between Brixton and Stockwell. Lovely decor, attentive staff and very unique dishes. South Indian food with British flare. Naan was well made and so soft, delightful with their signature chicken curry. Everything was delicious. Thank you
We had a nice and lovely stay at the Booma. It is not your typical indian food it reminds me a lot of tapas with an expanded beer card. Everything tastet delicious and was freshly made but the meat dishes had literally no sauce at all which made it a bit plain. The sauce is one of the things about indian food that makes it so special and interesting. The staff otherwise was very nice and polite.
Such a brilliant place, highly recommended. Set in a relatively small area with not many other choices around, we kind of bumped into this place by pure chance. Attractive from the outside and with a great variety of Indian nibbles I very much preferred the small dishes to the mains, not because the mains were any bad at all, but because of the greater variety make sure you order the ocra chips, they were amazing. Curiously enough, they have a small but intriguing selection of boozy beers.
Delicious food and fantastic service. The Dal was incredible, as was the kulfi! Really good prices as well, definitely recommended.
Not your regular Indian dining spot. Tasty, hot, fresh, interesting small dishes, paired with a range of great drinks. Add in good service and friendly faces and you can’t beat it. Just so happens to be our local too!
Great modern Indian with beers to match. Chicken and lamb were amazing, great flavour and size. Curry is what I’d call western, lacking punch, hopefully they see this feedback and spice it up a bit!
