The food here is quality and so so tasty! I order the chicken makhani each and every time with added spice and it is just unreal! Though I do need to be a little more adventurous next time!. Would recommend the dansak, special fried rice, chicken tikka masala and the samosas. The owner Zak is so welcoming and a great host.Recommended dishesSamosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Onion Bhajis
Absolute neighbourhood gem. There’s a reason it’s been here for decades. The food is consistently great, both in the restaurant and take away, and the service is friendly and fast. Bonus points for great tunes and an After Eight with the bill to sweeten the deal. Couldn’t ask for better.Food: 5/5
My husband and I go to restaurant for an excellent Indian meal. The boss and his staff are extremely friendly and provide a great service, with always a warm welcome. Restaurant has a lovely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Suitable for a casual ‘treat yourself meal’, or a special occasion. Cheers guys! Gabbi and Phil.
Ordered off Uber eats and got the set meal for 2 people definitely comes with a lot and is decent quantity for value . All the curries came in a large box and the portion sizes for everything was good. However , the chicken tikka masala was far too sweet and in regards to the lamb bhuna , the meat was okay, not tender but not chewy but the curry was lacking in flavour . On a positive note , the onion bhajis and samosas were great and the garlic naan and saag aloo was decent .
The best curry house in South London by miles, probably one of the best in London. The owner Zak is a true gent and incredibly hospitable - the food is five star and the service spot on. I’ve been coming here for 15 years and will carry on visiting for the rest of my life!Food: 5/5
