My favourite garden centre in London! The atmosphere is wonderful, there are often four legged friends around, the staff have almost always been warm and welcoming and the amount they have is great! Prices are fair and in my experience the same as far larger stores so it’s great to support this place. I’m not super local but always happy to go out of my way to come here when in need, even just to have a little wonder around to find inspiration. Unfortunately the pond in the back has gone and I wonder what happened to the fish. Otherwise great!
Wanted a particular plant contacted Bomabut it was out of stock they advised back in stock by end of the week. Got an email to say back in stock order delivered within a couple of working days well packaged and in excellent condition. Would recommend this on-line garden centre.
This place is just lovely. I’ve should have come here so much earlier and haven’t been able to stop going. I know this is going to be an expensive hobby, but my home is now beginning to become a small jungle. Staff are knowledgeable and patient with newbies like me who have brown fingers and many questions, but going on 3 weeks and all my plants are thriving.. what do you know, don’t water them too much I did start with hard-to-kill plants though: started with ZZs, some succulents and Pathos. Upgraded to Kentia, Peace Lily and Prayer Plants and seeing how it goes with lots of YouTube tutorials!! I just love how my home feels much more alive and how pleasing it is that I can keep these plants alive. Parking is just across from the entrance, which is very handy. I am so glad this is the first garden centre I went to as my experience has been wonderful.
I popped into Boma garden centre today. My goodness the plants were looking exceptional. Both the indoor plants and outdoor plants looked amazing. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a visit.
I have just taken delivery of two 1/4 standard bay trees. Delivery was extremely fast, and the plants are in excellent condition. Very happy, so five stars. I will say, however, that it took me ages to unpack them. Their individual boxes had been taped together with strong reinforced tape making the normal ‘zip’ method useless
Excellent service and communication with this garden centre, the app and website are very user friendly and easy to use and navigate and payment was easy, the orchid itself is amazing and in excellent condition, the postage by using DHL was very fast and the orchid was very well packaged and protected, I will definitely be buying more plants from you soon. Great little garden centre, they usually have a good range of plants and the staff members polite and knowledgeable. The prices are over the medium line, but many plants are in bigger containers, from 5 L up. Also they have nice glazed ceramic pots for outdoor £15 - 90 and the compost bags, 50L size, are around £9.
Apparently, there's always one shop that a person has no will power in and will always come out with at least othree purchases ... Boma is that place for me. Given the fact I'm on a scooter, this often poses issues trying to get home see pictures below, I did once manage to carry home a medium sized bay tree, and though I couldn't see very well through the foliage, we both made it back in one piece. The staff are wonderful here, always friendly helpful knowledgeable. The plants are healthy and the range is spectacular for what seems like a small place! Highly recommend this centre.
I love this place! It's a hidden gem in London. Affordable prices, wonderful cafe, cute cat and great staff. I could spend hours in here. I love all the sculptures too. It's like visiting a garden centre out of London. They have a good parking situation too with their own car park and plenty of on street parking. Also they have trolleys to take too. It has everything you will need. including specialist plants. 10/10
