Story

Camden Garden Centre is a traditional, London garden centre, perfectly suited to the diverse and dynamic dwellers of North London. Only ten minutes walk from Camden Town, and offering a fantastically varied selection of horticultural essentials, Camden Garden Centre is the go-to destination for garden and green space excellence.

Camden offers an impressive array of pots, containers and troughs, roses, seeds, shrubs and trees. Our plant selection covers herbaceous, bedding and climbing varieties, and our extensive houseplant department boasts everything you’ll need to stylishly bring the beauty of nature indoors.

Each year, from the end of November, Camden offers high-quality, long-lasting Christmas trees, available for inner-London delivery. Come in-store and select yourself your perfect tree from our huge “plantation”. Best sellers include Fraser Fir, Noble Fir, Nordmann Fir and Colorado Blue Spruce, all available in various sizes. Each year, time and again, our wide selection of trees, expert advice on looking after your tree and fabulous decorations and add-ons prove to be very popular.

Whether you are an experienced, devoted gardener, or a keen beginner, Camden Garden Centre has all your horticultural needs covered.

Established in 1982, Camden Garden Centre was the proud recipient of the UK Urban Garden Centre of the Year award in 2012. Camden Garden Centre Charitable Trust owns us, and we are very proud of our social enterprise business providing employment, on-the-job training and support to disadvantaged individuals in the local community. Since the 1980s, over 300 trainees have passed through the garden centre onto positive, and successful futures.

Our on-site café, Pritchard and Ure is extremely popular with Camden’s fastidious foodies, owing to its simple, yet delicious food and drinks menu, and excellent service. Pritchard and Ure use only the best, local suppliers, sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients to ensure dishes are as sustainable as they are delicious.

Lovely garden centre in Camden town. Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants and the coffee shop upstairs looked inviting. Sofas and tables to sit and read. They also sell books. Reviewed addition 30/01. I have now tried the coffee shop. Lovely lunch.
A stunning garden centre offering so much. Such a pleasure to walk around. Returning in a few days to pick up some plants.
Great cafe on the first floor of the garden centre. It has an excellent selection of teas and varied vegetarian fare. Strongly recommend giving it a go. Beware that the street the centre is on is currently closed to cars
A somewhat hidden gem I found on my work lunch break, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and most importantly really good coffee only negative was that they don't except cash payment but if you know and the lovely waitress mentioned putting up signage as a forewarning then that's no issue
Fantastic selection of house plants - some which I hadn’t seen in our local garden centres before. Great choice of varieties and sizes and would highly recommend for plant lovers ! Prices are a little more than average but that’s what you expect for london !
'Magical' experience as l made a return after about 14 yrs from my last visit when l worked nearby and was a frequent visitor during my lunch breaks!! Layout was familiar and l got all the herbs l wanted to my pleasant surprise!! This LB Camden based 'quiet oasis' of gardening stuff in terms of plants is a joy!!
Nice garden centre, full packed with a diversity of products and very well stocked, considering how hard is now for many garden centres to find some things. Prices above the medium, but plenty to choose. A big plus is the Sundries Department were I bought some hand tools and 2 books. Coffee shop was reopened today, Saturday 17th April, but only outside on the terrace. Car park area is big and easy to navigate.
Very helpful friendly stuff good selection of indoor and outdoor plants nice cafe inside for a coffee healthy good plants fruit trees lovely pots one again lovely stuff 10/10 excellent
Stunning!!! What a great experience! Thank you for such an amazing customer service from the staff, they even served customers waiting in the que with free beverages! The plants were such a good quality and reasonable priced, compared with other garden centres! Cannot reccomand this place more!
Never managed to get to the garden centre because of roadworks. I parked up and walked down from the end with the bollards. The staff just mumbled oh don't worry the main road is two way. NO WAY! If you want customers you need to provide an access map whilst the roadworks are happening.
