First time coming here. I ordered a combo meal of burnt tips and ribs, mac and cheese and coselaw, and my partner got steak and chips. Food was really tasty, gobbled it all up in record time. Service was good and fast. And the atmosphere was nice old school dineresque. All in all not too pricey and you get your moneys worth in food. Would definitely return here for the burnt tips and ribs.
Been meaning to come here after hearing rave reviews from friends. Atmosphere and decor were brilliant. Definitely got an American BBQ/ bar feel and vibe to it which we enjoyed. Team were all friendly and attentive and the place was clean and welcoming. We ordered the Pit Boss Platter shared between 2, which was lovely but smaller than expected for £56. Overall we had a great time and would definitely be back to try the other dinner options.
It's been a few years since I've been to Bodeans and I had been recommending it to people ever since I went 2019. Was in central London for the day and decided to give it a go again, but unfortunately it wasn't as I remembered. We ordered the Pitt Boss Platter for two, Buffalo Wings, fried greens, chips and 2 beers. Total was around £100 - which I'd happily pay for an outstanding meal, but it was mediocre at best. Whilst most of the meat fell off the bone, the majority was lacking flavour although the brisket and wings were AMAZING. Everything was just a bit bland sadly, not smokey enough, just lacking. The atmosphere was strange also - we went in the evening around 6pm and it was dead. Very quiet, waitresses were really nice and quick but it was almost depressing being there. If you ever get the chance, give Red Dog Saloon in Southampton a try - it's 10 times better in all aspects.
This place is a gem, right in the west end, we had a late lunch and was served by Mark, who was fantastic even gave us a little taster of the burnt ends to help us order the Platter for 2 which was more than enough for 3. Lovely warm atmosphere, attentive staff, good value and portion size. Definitely highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Had Early dinner here with one of my besties. We had ribs and pulled pork and everything was delicious . I would recommendFood: 4/5
Simple yet delicious food. Small menu but quick service. Lots of meat. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Surcharge added to bill so be warned. Quiet. Rustic feel bit clean and tidy. Ideal location for a night at theatre.Food: 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere though with many large muted TVs showing sports when we were there and decent enough BBQ by London standards if you're visiting from the Southern US be aware this will not be at the same level as you're probably used to! One thing to note - although frequently full of families this particular branch doesn't offer the kids menu you can build something similar from sides but it will cost more
Absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was so tasty and good portions. Definitely go again. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available
I visited this on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. The service was pretty good and the place definitely has a BBQ smokehouse feel to it. I ordered the burnt ends with fries and slaw and the pork ribs with pulled pork. The burnt ends were delicious so soft and flavourful and the fries were nicely cooked as well. The pork was good but I definitely prefer the beef. It was juicier and more flavourful. It all came out to £50 quid for the two orders and one cocktail and their house pint so not bad for central London. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
Tasty food, good portion sizes and great value for money. Kids menu is absolutely brilliant; 3 courses for £5 in central London. Loved that they had an Olaf themed milkshake, because the restaurant is opposite the Theatre where Frozen the Musical is on. Would definitely come back here if in the area. Would recommend ordering the Bodeans platter and the chocolate brownie is sensational!!
