Smith & Wollensky has been serving up what is without doubt the finest steak in America since it first opened its doors in New York in 1977. After winning the heart of the Big Apple, those award-winning steaks were soon to be found all across the States, from the windy city of Chicago to the hot sands of Miami Beach.Smith & Wollensky launched its first London site in the historic Grade II-listed Adelphi Building just off the Strand and offers a selection of signature USDA prime dry-aged steaks and premium seafood, alongside award-winning wines and classic cocktails.

I've visited here twice before Covid and it was absolutely delicious both times. Very generous portion sizes and great service!!

Smith & Wollensky is a gem and probably the best restaurant in London, they treat you like royalty from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Highly recommend!

Great environment and very amiable service. The food was fresh and delightful. Will easily recommend this place to anyone. Fair rates and large portions. Keep up the great work.

Always reliable for an evening meal, and simply the best steak in town, but after 5 years of being regulars here we’ve had our first Sunday lunch and I have to say it was very good. We made it an early Christmas do, but the Eggs Benedict as starter was exceptional. Sadly no photo of that, but here’s Christmas lunch.

Fantastic steak restaurant! We have been to this restaurant a number of times for special catch ups and celebrations and we always have amazing food and the service is impeccable. We will definitely be returning in the future, I recommend the USDA Prime dry-aged steak, it’s the best!

This place blue my mind! Everything was amazing and definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had in the UK. I had the Kansas steak and peppercorn sauce, roast potatoes and mixed salad + some red wine Absolutely wanted more eventhough I was full. The waiters were very professional and helpful and service was timely

This restaurant was perfect, the staff are excellent  the food as expected was great and the atmosphere was good even in these covid secure times. The measures in place were well explained and followed by all. Cant wait to go back in normal times.
