Boathouse Inn
"Wonderfully situated on the banks of the River Aire in picturesque Saltaire, the original boathouse was built in 1871. It was later converted into a pub, but by early in the new millennium the building was abandoned and derelict. The present owners undertook a complete refurbishment in 2009, retaining the historical exterior features but transforming the interior into a beautifully designed and comfortable modern inn.The Boathouse Inn offers well-kept traditional cask ales with guest ales alongside imported beers and lagers, an intelligent selection of wines available by the glass, carafe or bottle, as well as a good range of coffees and hot drinks. We pride ourselves on our carefully prepared, simple grown-up food: from snacks and sand"

A nice pub restaurant. Busy early evening on a Friday but quieter as evening went on. The food was great especially the steak, chips a little overdone but ok. Good choice of dessert. Gluten free and vegan options. Service was excellent.Food: 4/5
A really nice pub with great view on the river. I loved the fact you could sit under the tree shade, inside or stand by the river. Great coffee! I was a bit sceptical, but was amazed with the coffee Josh made :Service: 5/5
Called for lunch and had the steak pie which was honestly the biggest and the best one I have ever had. Excellent service from the young waitress and very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit here again. Would recommend booking a table in advance as it got very busy.Food: 5/5
Pub/ bar overlooking the river Aire, a few local cask ales and the usual larges. In a nice setting with outdoor area . Worth a look.Service: 4/5
Really nice restaurant on the banks of the river overlooking Roberts park. Good to relax after a walk or bike along the canal, with loads of seating and outdoor space.Food: 4/5
Went here on a pre-birthday train trip, loved Saltaire, and this establishment was wonderful. Fabulous views over the river and park, beautifully presented great food, dog friendly, outdoor seating, all good.
A cozy pub and dine-in next to River Aire. Beautiful views, warm fireplace, quick service. Love the ambiance and spending time here. Sumptuous portions. Ordered Ham and Leek pie, dirty burger and chilli. All lived upto the expectation. If you're visiting the Heritage city of Saltaire, do stop byFood: 5/5
Another beautiful tranquil place to have a drink instead or outside with wonderful foodFood: 5/5
We are regular visitors here as live locally. Came in for Sunday lunch today. At 5pm we were told there’s only chicken left. We accepted this and ordered. They take the money as you order. Waited about 25 mins which was ok but the food was terrible this time unfortunately. Every single item meat, roasts and Yorkshire was overcooked. All I could taste was charcoal burnt taste. Staff don’t act bothered. Nobody asks if everything is ok. Not good service to be honest and food really disappointing. Wouldn’t eat here again. Especially Sunday roast.
Punching way above it's weight, this was a lovely pub. It has a local pub feel but the food and beer are great, easily standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the gastro pubs of Leeds. The pie I had seems home made and the beer was lovely, with great table service. We will certainly be coming again.Food: 5/5
