Customers to this 'Christian Charity Shop' might be well-warned not to offer to buy furniture items which have a 'pair'. Having done so the manageress twice refused to sell me a bedside table 'in case the other one was left for ages'. Blytheswood ought to remember that if an item is good, it WILL sell - and a bird in the hand...etc. In this case I had in mind to buy both if the first one suited well - but could not make a definite offer untried. Blytheswood, & their managers, ought surely to operate on their proclaimed 'Christian' & even charitable principles - & not alienate past good customers for a manager's temporary convenience. That's silly and selfish. Each item was priced individually with no indicatuion they could not be separately bought, possibly a legal infraction? No offer of any reduction for the pair. Unfriendly!
