“Better than The Ned!” My stay wasn’t perfect. The cleaning crew forgot to clear a bin and wipe down the kitchenette counter on an occasion, but overall I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff have been attentive and friendly. Breakfast has been great. I’ll definitely be back. And yes, I’ve stayed at The Ned previously. The pomp and pretentiousness just didn’t sit well with me. Tower Suites offered good value and authenticity.

Let's start with all the good things about the hotel. The rooms were very nice with lots of amenities and very large sized room. Up to date and modern features, lights, bathroom and appliances. The hotel also let us check our luggage so we could enjoy our day in London, until the room was ready. This room had everything you could want for your stay...except it was the worst mattress I have EVER slept on! I like firm mattresses but this was like balling up a sheet and sleeping on the hardwood floor. I'm shocked at how such a nice hotel could have such a horrible mattress to sleep on. It was fitting to be so close to Tower Hill and the Tower of London because it was torture sleeping on this mattress. The rooms have kitchens, refrigerators, espresso machines, yoga mats, tons of storage and beautifully decorated but the bed was awful!!! If you value a good nights sleep, look elsewhere. If you need lots of space, modern features, a beautiful room and don't care about sleep, then this is the place for you. It's also just steps to the metro station and the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Great location. Terrible bed. If you get room 216, ask for another room.
This is my favourite hotel to stay!! I’ve never had one issue staying here by any means - majority of the times I have stayed I’ve received a generous upgrade. Staff are always lovely! Rooms are just the best! Location is great even in regards to travelling to Shoreditch 15 min walk Always greeted well even by security! I often stay within London - and this hotel stands as the best. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay make this your first choice
I recently stayed here for about 2 weeks for a work trip and I had a very nice stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. I didn’t have a single issue with this place. The location is great for either business or tourist travel as you are directly across from the DLR station and directly next to Tower Hill underground station.
Great location, right next to tube stop, good sound proofing, clean rooms. Air conditioning helped on the hotter days there. Kitchen amenities enough for our breakfast, but would have appreciated a chefs knife and cutting board. Appreciated daily refills of supplies like bottled water and biscuits. Gym was small but sufficient. Enjoyed our 9-night stay as a family of four. Will stay at again next time!
This hotel is extremely convenient for tourist since it is right next to the tower bridge tube station. It is pretty much a self service hotel because there are kitchens setup in your room. The rooms are pretty nice but the sofa beds are kind of small for 2 people. The services they give are pretty nice since you can use the telephone provided. The workers there are kind and welcoming , special thanks to Frank who helped us when we checked in. Walkability: It is very very close from the tower bridge tube station and it is extremely convenient to walk to the tower bridge. There are plenty of restaurants there and other public transport.
We had booked a suite on the sixth floor for 5 nights. Basically, the accommodation met our expectations of a 5 star hotel. The location, the breakfast, the italian restaurant and the friendliness of the staff are excellent. There are deductions for the few possibilities to store things in the bathroom, the lack of a wardrobe and the lack of storage space in the lockers.
Beautiful hotel. Huge room there were 4 of us, lots of amenities. I will say the pull out sofa two of us shared was absolutely awful I barely slept 3 hours because every part of the metal frame poked though the thin mattress/pad, but this is the second hotel with a pull out sofa that was physically painful to lay on, so maybe the hotel pull-out supplier in the UK just makes a really bad product. The location was great, just a short walk to the Underground and surrounded by shops. The front desk staff were phenomenal. Would definitely stay here again, just not on a pull-out sofa.
Excellent location! Walking distance to Tower of London and Tower Bridge, great restaurants and bars, and etc. Hotel staff are very friendly and patient, helping every way possible. Room is spacious and recently renovated with lighting/charging stations and everything, giving you contemporary feeling. It also comes with a lounge, kitchenette, and a washing/drying machine, super practical when staying longer.
