Blue Ginger

Lovely curry, nice staff... but I was rejected tap water which is totally out of order! This is why I’m giving a low review. Tap water should always be available.

Very nice curry restaurant. The food is very tasty with a large variety of dishes on the menu. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that the drinks are expensive and that charging £3.50 for a smallish portion of rice isn't right.

Very pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, could improve on the menu and have more options for wine by the glass. The Nan bread was very nice, the house red was awful. The flannel for washing my hands smelled a little stale but my other half's was fine and lemony. Would go again.

Staff very accommodating and helpful. Good was very good. Decor is modern.

Disappointing first, and last, visit - won't provide tap water which I believe they are legally obliged to do if asked for specifically, management instructions apparently. Small bottle of Alpine Spring still water £1.95, open when brought to the table, draw your own conclusions. Lamb very chewy - no way was it fresh or slow cooked, rice portion miserly. These are not the things that get my repeat custom.
