The Kings Lock Inn

Firstly, photos don't do the food here justice! The meals we ordered were incredible. All filling and of the best quality. The customer service was also amazing. We called the inn to book a table roughly half an hour before their kitchen closed, upon arriving, we were already fairly late, with half the group continuing down the canal to park up at Andersen Boats. The orders were given, and with no quibble or fuss, the staff set out making our meals at the chefs leaving time. (He's 17 by the way!) I was brought out a plate of stunning prawns, but as I wasn't there, they took it back, and the chef insisted he make a fresh batch for me upon my arrival with the rest of my group. They catered to our mistakes and lateness, which was hugely generous. The rest of the food and service was stunning alongside the ales and beer on tap. Photos are of the balsamic glazed bread with onion chutney and salad, and the sea bass and multi colour veg.

A pleasant place to visit when moored at Middlewich. Very friendly staff and customers. Good food. Dog friendly as well.

Not eaten here but the real ale is always in first class condition. Bottled Belgian beers available too. Lovely ambience with nice touches like fresh flowers on the tables. Wish it was my local.

Nice pub food looks good dog friendly nice place to and watch world go by on side canal can be entertaining watching boaters do the lock
