Amazing little Pub, with a great decoration. Friendly staff. Hosted a pit stop for Soccer Aid Match ball Mission crew and celebrity. Local school attended and turned it even better.
Love this pub! Great range of cask beers. Love the beer garden by the canal, and a fantastic fish and chip shop across the road.
Cracking pub with a great variety of beers. Staff are great with samples offered for the real ale. Nice to see a digital menu giving info and prices, more pubs should do this!nDidn't eat so no score but I'd expect it to be good. Cake available if you want it.
A very disappointing Sunday dinner. We had friends visiting and we were moored quite close by so decided to try Sunday dinner instead of going to the Big Lock pub where we had been before.nAlarm bells rang when there was no menu, we were just told that it was Beef or Chicken. We all decided to go for Beef. It arrived and looked lovely so we were very hopeful. It soon went downhill. The beef was extremely rare, I like it rare but the majority was raw and lukewarm warm. The potatoes had been warmed up a bit and the rest of the veg was only just warm. One of our guests couldn’t eat the beef and asked for some that was cooked more, this arrived fifteen minutes later it looked like it had been fried. Definitely not off a good roast joint. No horseradish sauce either. I have the waitress feedback stating the beef was not cooked well and was cold along with the veg. I was told she would pass it onto the chef.nHopefully it gets better as the pub is in a great position.
Great pub! We visited during the Middlewich festival and this place was very busy. Thousands of people flocked here to soak up the atmosphere which was absolutely buzzing. The event was very well staffed and the Manager deserves a medal for making it a successful weekend. I will definitely visit here again
