A friendly pub that I have frequented since the early 1970's. It has good food and real beers kept at the right temperature - what's not to like? This ancient pub remains my favourite despite my not being able to visit it as regularly as I used to. I recommend a visit for a convivial drink or meal at any time of year.
Lots of character and exquisite food. Well thought out with careful attention to all the current restrictions. Lovely atmosphere. We went for lunch but would love to go back in the evening. Friendly and attentive staff.
Lovely setting and great service, food and ambience. Cosy and wonderful place for a super meal. Highly recommended
Stopped in for Sunday lunch at one of Wales' oldest pubs. Delicious three course meal with Guinness in a rustic and cozy environment. Good parking across street, very busy. Advanced booking advised.
Visited here with friends for the first time in a few years and glad to report everything was of the high standard you usually get here. Food was excellent, well planned layout to deal with social distancing, excellent service and a lovely pint. Highly recommended.
Spectacular 'olde worlde' thatched pub selling a superb range of craft and draught beers. Lovely food and friendly, family run atmosphere.
After so many years in the UK I think that this is the best fish and chips. Hand made chips, skinned fish amazing. Good service and nice beer.
Well organised in these time. A Good pint of HPA
Can't fault this place! Charming old historic building with fantastic food and service... Sunday lunch is particularly nice just make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. 10/10
