Best place on the planet. Wish the blues music would be as prominent as it used to be but apart from Blakes is single handedly the best coffee shop/breakfast venue in Newcastle!
Great place serving a good choice of food, both hot and cold. Very friendly staff offering a warm welcome. It gets very busy at lunchtime which is a testament to how popular it is.
Excellent place for a Sunday brunch. It was busy but the staff were very efficient. Delicious fry up and pancakes. Set us up for the day! Highly recommended.

Nice breakfast place, very friendly and attentive staff. Nice coffee, well presented. Lovely hot food, had breakfast which was freshly made, hot and very tasty. Nice place with a cool vibe, clean & tidy with nice level background music and newspapers, magazines etc. Recommended.
Excellent food: it's nice to have chilli in a jacket potato that has a proper kick to it!
Blake very reputative cafe.Very nice café in Newcastle, when I was a student used to go there for breakfast and coffee. Will be little bit packed for weekend. They are doing good.
