Such a fantastic pub. Excellent service, good choice of beers and standard pub favourites served well! Portions are big so just make sure you are hungry! :
We visited whilst walking in the area. The pub has direct access to a path which links Jackfield and Ironbridge. The outside seating is lovely, with great views of the river.nnThe food options are varied and there is a dedicated menu to cater for vegetarian and vegan options.nnWe had food which was delicious and well priced, especially considering it is a Bank Holiday today.nnOverall great experience and very dog friendly. Will visit again.
Lovely little pub.. banging Guinness at only £5 a pint and the panto chicken burger was delicious.. will be back
Visited this pub with my Ramblers group. It was our short and social today - a five mile walk followed by a pub lunch. Very icy and cold outside but we got a warm welcome in the pub. The food was very good, nice and hot and well cooked. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was excellent, the staff are friendly and efficient. It is nice to go to a pub that doesn't pretend to be anything else! Well worth a visit.
The food was beautifully presented, portion size very generous. We ate outside in the seating area by the river - it was lovely.
