I've heard so much about this fish and chip shop. Sadly didn't hold up on my first visit. I went in, one person in front of myself. Got served quite quickly by a young lady. Then it seemed she just took orders and didn't actually prepare food. My order then went to another lady. It wasn't a massive order, chicken meat and chips, chips. But this took 20 minutes to prepare. They weren't overly busy - not sure what happened. They did apologise for the wait, but for what I ordered it took far too long. Any other chip shop I have been to, serve you, prepare and you're out the door. This system didn't seem to work. Also compared to other chip shops this one is expensive. My wife has been before and she was charged almost £2 for salad for chicken meat and chips, other shops this comes free as standard. I doubt I'll sadly return.

Today I went and ordered a kebab meat and chips. Was very disappointed, it was so oily no grease proof paper was provided. It’s was warm. Not what I expected.

Really great fish and chip shop. Gets very busy and parking is limited but that shows how good it is. Staff are very friendly and food is very yummy.

Most of the time they are lovely however on the odd occasion they are not very hot.
