Lovely roast as usual, great value for money as it includes a starter or a dessert. £10.95. Was just cold inside the pub and it's put us off going back until it warms up a little. *edited because we haven't been back since for that reason.
Had lovely evening with group of friends last night. So welcoming and friendly staff. Everything just perfect for a relaxing post Christmas gathering. The choice of menu was varied and interesting. Food was well presented and tasty. Enjoyed by all. Will certainly return! Thankyou to all the staff who made our evening Such a happy one.
Went there for my little one to see Father Christmas which was awesome. One of the best that I have seen. Anyway after that stayed for some lunch. The food was very reasonably priced and tasty. The pub gave a lovely service and had a great atmosphere, felt like a proper pub from back in the days. Will definitely be coming back with the family soon.Thankyou!
What a wonderful pub. we were visiting Poole for the weekend and decided to have a meal here as it was dog friendly, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and bent over backwards for us. Wish this pub was in our area Portsmouth, would go here all the time if it was. Really enjoyed the Sunday roast and fudge brownie pudding and coffee. Went on Sunday for lunch. All 4 of us went for the roasts. It's the best roast I have had for a very long time.Staff very good. Nice setting. Will go again soon. Must book very popular
Went there a couple of Sundays ago. Absolutely impeccable service from the girls - Melissa was extremely accommodating as busy as it was. Food was gorgeous. Can’t recommend enough. If you want a roast, go there! Just be sure to book, albeit they did fit us in! Thanks
I popped in for dinner as I was staying at the Wimborne Lodge. I ordered lasagne and it was enjoyable.
What a lovely place. We stopped here for a meal to break a journey. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Their Covid security is excellent. They have a varied menu that offers great value. We all thought our meals were delicious. We're a long way from home, but fully intend calling in again when the opportunity arises.
Friendly staff and one of the best management styles I have encountered in a long time. Service like it should be, and on a Sunday! They always have time for you but don't keep other people waiting without a good cause.
Our first time in the area from Southampton. An amazing pub with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food too. Pity it is so far from home as we would definitely go on a regular basis.
