I had the steak here which was perfectly cooked. Service was fantastic and they have a good selection of drinks behind the bar.

Warn welcome for adults and canine guests alike. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a covid friendly atmosphere. Food was very fresh hot and homemade.  Well done The Black Bear

A nice and cosy experience here at that top of the hill, next door to the church. Great to see that it's been well maintained since the 17th century. Good service, friendly staff, and fantastic menu.
