Excellent, friendly pub run by Mel who has monthly quizzes which are great fun as is she! Many other events are organised. Highly recommend.

Excellent for Sunday lunch, essential to book in advance. The Curry Night should not be missed. Take a fire extinguisher if you are tempted by the Widow Maker!

The black bear was highly recommend, however I had fish and chips which were far from great, the cod looked grey, transparent inside the batter and had no flavour, I tried two layers neither of which was particularly good, I'm sorry but on the upside, very friendly locals pub
