Fantastic food, great portion sizes, really good value (3 courses for 2 people and a bottle of wine for £82ish) and friendly attentive staff. Best of all, very dog friendly.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but....

3 out of 4 meals were fine! Unfortunately my elderly mother in law also had lamb and hers was running with blood (extremely rare) and it couldn't even be cut. 
Also her vegetables weren't cooked enough to eat (raw) 
I know everyone has different tastes in how things are cooked, but we had the same and ours was perfect.

Money was given back for her meal as she couldn't eat it, she was offered something else to eat, but we came out to celebrate and eat as a family.....

We have been here before and meals have been lovely.
 It's such a shame, as it was the treat at the end of our holiday and we were celebrating our son getting excellent GCSE results!

The prices here are more than we can afford, so this was supposed to extra special....

After speaking to the owners at our accommodation that we stayed in. She said, she has also had mixed reviews of the food there.
