These guys were great from start to finish - they quickly took fantastic photos of the property, wrote a great bio and all online almost instantly which meant we got offers within a few days. Now Sold! Were very straight forward to deal with - highly recommended.

Nigel has sold 23 properties for us in Hertfordshire  over the last two years. Big Black Hen is completely proactive and keeps us in the loop on the sales process. He is realistic on price so you don't end up in the doom loop loved by many agents who will overprice to get your business and then leave you to drop the price once they have you on the hook, not a good idea when presenting to the market. Unlike any other estate agent we have used, he keeps a close track of sales and the legal process ensuring he communicates with everyone. So different compared to our experience with a conversion of 12 flats and 6 houses on the South Coast, sadly outside of Big Black Hens area, where the catalogue of ineptitude led to numerous sales dropping out and just not enough attention paid to managing the complexities of conveyancing. Big Black Hen provides excellent professional service unlike any other estate agents we have dealt with. I can't express enough how much better it is to have Nigel managing a sale.

We would like to say thank you for the excellent service you have provided, from the beginning to the end of the process- personal, a clear strategy from the outset, clear expectations, straight advice, and no unnecessary communications. We also really admire your ethical approach to selling. It has all been very easy and stress-free (from our point of view at least!). If only all estate agents operated in a similar way. We are really pleased with the outcome, and wouldn’t hesitate to use you again or to recommend the agency to anyone.

BBH couldn't have been better when I sold my Hertford apartment.  The time taken from the first conversation to marketing the property was a matter of a day, I received excellent advice on valuation and then real time feedback as offers came in.  Responsiveness to calls and emails was always instant and essentially I didn't have to lift a finger - my only part to play was to make the decision to accept an offer based on their well rounded feedback.

The best agents we have ever used. The reasonable and simple fee structure means you can be sure all advice is purely to optimise the sale of your property - and that advice was invaluable. Handled viewings very well, whether we were at home or not, putting prospective purchasers at ease. Communications were excellent, and Nigel was always available whenever we had any queries. Without their guidance and support, it is probable we would still have our house on the market. We have recommended Big Black Hen to several friends who are equally delighted.
