Rating: 1 star: poor - If that! This dentist is very much for the locals in the high rise flats, the receptionist was stuck up and assumed that I was entitled to free dentistry (presumably because every other client is). I could not get a single buggy in there when I tried. The dentist seemed perfectly competent, but very cold to me and very warm to the Indian clients she saw (she was Indian herself). I was asked to come back to the surgery at least four times over a couple of weeks for very simple treatment, which I have had carried out in the same appointment at other dentists. Do not expect them to see you anywhere near your schedulded appointment time, but you will be expected to arrive early to check in with the receptionist. The door to the dentists office is left open onto the entrance "hall" whilst you are having treatment done so people peer in on their way to reception. I did not feel that any of my questions regarding my treatment were answered sufficiently, that the dentist had time to chat about the weather to her previous clients but no time to talk treatment with me! The building itself appears to have parking bays at the front, is run down in appearance and pokey inside. It seems to consist of the two rooms, waiting room and the dentists office (the small entrance "hall" being in between) and some accommodation on the 1st floor. Public transport to this dentist seems to be available by bus, but nothing from where I had to come from, I think there is a bus stop nearby though! All in all; I can understand why this dentist is always able to take on new NHS patients. I will not be returning - I am going private!

I went here as it was the only NHS dentist in the area. Though the customer services was better then the last reviewers, I'm unsure of the quality of the check up. There was a small hole in the side of my tooth which I belive the dentist missed. I'm going back there now, 4 months later, as the hole has grown. I would probably avoid this place if you have other options...
