A perfectly adequate bar ruined by offensively loud music. Go somewhere else if you can.
Great service and deco. Food was nice, specially the lamb croquettes and steak tartare .
Website not updated. It's not a restaurant at present. It's really just a bar. No laid tables as advertised, and a menu that consists of three sandwiches only. All the atmosphere of a Eastern block airport departure lounge. We left without ordering.
Nice ambience and setting but disappointing food and slow service. I had the lamb, pictured, which looked great and seemed to be cooked perfectly medium-rare, but it was very chewy.
Worst managed place I ever been. So many staff employed but incapable of taking an order or delivering a meal to the right table. In desperate need of someone who knows how to manage a cafe bar!
Ordered at the counter a 250 ml glass of pinot noir. The waiter told me there was no 250ml size available. Only 175ml at £10. He then added he could add 75ml for an additional fee. I eventually found £19 on my bill. 75ml for 9£. Speechless. Discussed with the bar manager at no avail.
Lovely bar and restaurant inside the BFI on The South Bank. Great quality drinks and food with great service. It's really quite peaceful in here considering the location. A great place to drink and chat whether you're going to see a film or not.
Terrible service, regardless of the price. Food ok at best. Hugely disappointing. Won’t return.
