We recently attended a performance of *The Lion King* at the Lyceum Theatre, and it was an unforgettable experience. We absolutely loved the show. It was astounding! The performances were top-notch, with each actor bringing immense talent and energy to their roles. The costumes and set design were breathtaking, and the music, a blend of familiar tunes and new compositions, was captivating and perfectly complemented the stunning visuals. The attention to detail in the puppetry and choreography was truly impressive, making the characters come alive in a magical way. The Lyceum Theatre itself is a historic and grand venue with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, adding to the overall impressive show.
Absolutely fantastic performance of the Lion King, Beautiful building inside and out, spacious seats. Nice touch with the app to order refreshments and have them brought to your seat, toilets are a bit of a squeeze queuing on stairs at lower level. Staff very friendly and helpful would highly recommend!
We all know the story of the Lion King from the movie, but you'll still be blown away with the exquisite costume design and the sets. From the start with the giraffes how does a person walk on stilts on four legs??? to the elephant and rhino, to the rushing wildebeests and the hyenas, everything was amazing. Every seat was full on a Friday night, and it's no wonder. Buy your tickets well in advance. The only issue was the adult Simba's voice being a bit flat versus every one else especially in Can you feel the love tonight, but you can't have everything.
FANTASTIC!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Excellent performance, excellent costumes, stage props and scene changes were epic. Theatre PACKED. Everyone was enchanted and in awe. Funny laugh out loud moments. Travel and location is perfect, easy to get to. I would absolutely 100% go again and again. Thanks to the cast and crew of The Lion King, also thanks to the professional staff at The Lyceum Theatre.
Beautiful beautiful theatre with amazing Lion King performance :! Compared to the wicked theater it felt a bit more dated but loved how much interactions the artist have with audience and just wonderful place to be in!!! Would highly recommend :

Seeing The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre was something I had always wanted to do, and after five years, I finally made it. It was totally worth the wait. Kudos to the actors and musicians who truly bring the story to life and keep you captivated from start to finish. Their performances are nothing short of spectacular, with each scene more mesmerizing than the last. The intricate costumes, stunning set design, and powerful music all combine to create an unforgettable theatrical experience. If you have the chance to see it, don’t miss out—it’s an extraordinary show that will leave you in awe.
We recently attended "The Lion King" at the Lyceum Theatre in London, having purchased tickets for £68 a month ago, sitting in the last row. Despite the full house, the show was truly exceptional. This is an absolute must-see in London. The creativity, acting, and music were all phenomenal. I deeply appreciate the hard work and creativity of the entire team. My 9-year-old enjoyed it immensely, and although I was initially worried about my 4-year-old, she was completely captivated and didn't utter a single word throughout the performance. She even expressed a desire to see it That said, the musical itself is spectacular, with breathtaking scenes featuring the animals. Anyone who loves "The Lion King" film will undoubtedly enjoy this fantastic production.
Went to see The Lion King with my special needs sister, mother, and best friend forever. We had front row seating so it was great watching the live orchestra below us and being up close and personal with the cast on stage. We had bundle food passes and it was a tad difficult for the concessions to figure out, don't think that should have taken the time that it did. Other than that, great performance and warmth to my heart as I randomly glanced over at my mother and witnessed her eyes full of excitement like a child. Thank you.
Beautiful proper old London theatre, very well managed with the placement of merchandise area, bars etc made it quite straightforward to get drinks and snacks before and during interval. Very deep stage allowed for some spectacular sets and for those in the stalls you get to see the animals walking by for the lion king The side boxes are good value, whilst having a slightly limited view of some of the stage they are spacious and can even get a visit from cast members during the show too
