Was pulled over for allegedly jumping a traffic light, tried to record the ordeal on my phone but the officer told me that wasn't legal and I needed to turn my phone off, I reluctantly did so. Ended up in court the officer in question clearly lied on his official statement but I had no proof of conversation. I almost lost my job because of a dishonest police officer. Shame really as I had a high opinion of Norfolk constabulary until this moment. Don't want to tarnish an entire organisation because of one person but no longer trust the police in this area. Fortunately I no longer live here and I feel much safer for it.
I should admit that I did have good personal service here though it was very limited. Unlike Wymondham HQ, human beings here did not seem to have that unconditional " sheep-like " mentality that is so damaging to an individual's integrity. My personal view is that this is due to a more cosmopolitan environment that Norwich experiences. It is a simple matter of fact that people living under certain environmental factors will become accustomed and more inclined to those factors whether it is left middle or right on the political spectrum. There are very few officers that are not " too terrified and too spineless " to disagree with one of their own under any circumstances which is totally transparent to even the least of analytical minds. Further, this mentality creates predictable mechanical robots that are not pleasant to either look at and even more awful to communicate with. Incidentally, this is why I have made clear in writing that certain officers who i have found that carry these traits will not receive any engagement from me under any circumstances whatsoever whether they like it or not. Great stuff Norwich !
I’m severely disabled . My carer / God mother unexpectedly died . Her family suddenly came on the scene after 30 years and kicked me out and wanted our dog put down . It was only the next day and they ransacked the place looking for insurance policies and a will . Having left me to clear over a thousand charity bags on my own . Making it impossible for me to go to the funeral. They took charge . Sold it by auction not listening to her wishes , stealing thousands of pounds I’d put into both properties we had lived in . The Police were supposed to stay the night but they got a call telling them to leave the 7 1/2 year old autistic personality alone . She was left alone all night in fear and shock from finding our God mother who had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away and she had horrifically found , then calling the emergency services . Social services sent care in the form of a company called Avail which I’ve already given my evaluation of . When it came to Clarke James and the theft of £2,500 by one care assistant and another carer from Clarke James taking a brand new £500 sewing machine with the promise of purchasing it but never did or has I knew I was being strung along as I wasn’t given a cad number . They said because “I was disabled I was unreliable and the lady was too old to have a criminal record , who took the sewing machine. “ Only months before a car ploughed through the gate and into next doors fence at 6 am . On that occasion they decided I was a reliable witness as I told them who was driving he was over the limit They even asked if I was prepared to be a witness in Court . So when are you a reliable whiteness and when aren’t you ? I Could never trust them and will never report another crime . Honesty doesn’t pay in Norwich ! I’m not sure why the heading is never cooked meals etc !! My apologies that isn’t what you expect from a Police Force . I should know my brother- in law was a Police Inspector in Colchester !
This is an amazing Police Constabulary / Police station, they will help you out with any kind of problem / matter, if they can't help you with it they will point you in the right direction and tell you who you can contact for it. To be honest they do an amazing job and they get put down way too much for what they do I hope they carry on the good work. Thank you for your service.
