Thought I'd pop in today for a pie and a pint with the family today. I requested simply two pies. Thought the bill was a little steep at the time but didn't really take much notice. When I got home I realised I'd been charged £21 for two pies and no gravy. Felt a little done over. On a positive note the service was excellent.

Cute 'traditional' pub famous for their pies.  Nice draft options and the pie, mash and peas meals are worth exploring.

Quiet,  cosy and relaxed.  A little off the beaten track.  Great place for a drink before dinner at Teuchters

The quiz on a Thursday evening is really fun, challenging but very enjoyable. Staff friendly, range of beers quite good.

bert's was hit and miss for a long time but more recently  i think it had a change of management  it's become it's old cheap and cheerful self. classic pub grub with friendly welcoming staff. the food is tasty enough that i return every so often and it's got a nice lively atmosphere on a friday night after work.

Very nice. Beer selection is good and it's not too busy

Vers nice lokation with great atmosphere, exzellent food and beer and very friendly stuff.    Will come again
