Nice small vets with good caring staff .our pets have always gone there with both problems.

Stay away if you want your pet to be safe and not nearly killed. I've literally just moved to the area. My dog went into labour and was having difficulties. My sister was with her so she called our immediate vets. The gentlemen did not sound to concerned and said he would call their main branch in Hitchin and call back ( why didn't they advise come in as just down the road?)and to keep dog there do not bring in. Over half hour later no call back. My sister then called her vets in another village and was told to take my dog immediately in. As a result of not getting immediate help my dog has had to undergo a emergency caesarean and has lost all her pups. We're waiting to see if my dog herself will survive. I called Hitchin near on 3 hours later and spoke to manager who said that they had called my sister many times with no answer (my sister had absolutely no calls, we've kept call logs as I will take this further). She then said the number they called ended in 752. I asked them to provide copy of their call log as I find odd not one single call received by my sister. I called my sister and she said that's not even her number. I called Hitchin back. Manager first said she didn't say 752 then said it's what's written next to my name on her notes but is probably someone else's number. I asked her to repeat number my sister gave them. She said she can't as she may give information that's incorrect. So for my dog and my family the result has been devastating and traumatic. We may just be another pet issue to you but to us our girl is a family member and this afternoon she has suffered dearly. Why couldn't you just taken her in when we called for help. I would like your head office to contact me directly
