Super friendly service. We had the carvery on a Sunday at 12noon. Everything tasted great and fresh. Reasonably priced too. I'd recommend booking a table Parking: Own car park right outside the door
Excellent pub grub. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Left fully stuffed and very satisfied. Staff were lovely and welcoming and very accommodating our eldest is a very fussy eater - everyone from the young man behind the bar, to the young blonde waitress who's new to the job, to the man in the red apron serving the carvery couldn't have been nicer. Even got a warm goodbye. Only minor gripe - some colouring stuff or activity pack for kids would have been great. Will definitely return.

We came here for dinner for our dads 80th, the poor staff were rushed off their feet but we're really nice and helpful, they were understanding when the kids did the usual changing their minds what they want for dinner. Most of us had the carvery and it was really nice, the kids enjoyed their food as well but saved room for pudding's, which they made short work of. It was a nice meal and cheaper than we thought it would be, we will definitely go back again. Parking: Best parking spot is across the road as there is only a small car park out the front.
Lovely food and even lovelier people. Visited the pub for the first time today. We chose it mainly for the disabled access for my elderly Aunt with mobility issues. I'm so glad we did. The people working there are so nice. They didn't have any brown bread for my Aunties sandwich, so she said white was fine. Next thing they'd sent someone to the bakers to get brown bread for her. Such a lovely thing to do. The food was really nice too. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much
Carvery on a Sunday was fantastic. The Yorkshire Puddings were enormous! Staff were really friendly and nice. We had to pre-book with a deposit but it was worth it. There is also a menu to choose from if you're not in the mood for a roast. Highly recommended by us. Vegetarian options: Nutroast was a carvery option
We were looking for somewhere to eat on our 2 day break and luckily we spotted this. We had the carvery and it was absolutely to die for delicious proper home cooked food. The staff were very friendly and kindly fitted us in, the customer service was excellent. If you are going on holiday or a short break I definitely recommend eating here
Visited the Beresford this evening, we telephoned when we were on our way to check there was availability to bo told there was. When we arrived we were met with a very warm welcome and shown to a lovely table in the bar area as we had our small dog with us. The staff could not have been more friendly or more accommodating, even to the point of offering to watch our dog whilst we went up for our carvery. Food was fabulous and all the staff outstanding, special mention to Oliver who was amazing, thank you so much we will definitely recommend this place and will definitely return.
Perfect carvery filled me up so couldnt move
Food was lovely.nice and fresh veg.. Staff presumed we knew what to do as we had to get a ticket and be seated and wait to be called.staff are quite laid back.should have explained.. Overall it was lovely food
