I want to start with the parking, the staff at the greeting desk must, yes I will repeat must remind their customers to sign in. Yes, there are signs everywhere and a couple of screens inside to register your car, but if it’s your first time there and you’re hungry, like we were you will not pay attention to them, you will think it just says for customers only. We were very lucky that I bothered to read the parking notice on the way out, and went back to register our car. Some of the staff seemed to have some kinda of an attitude and I felt they were somewhat arrogent. The food was okay, and the salad bar was very minimal, but the building and the seating area outside overlooking the river had good vibes and nice atmosphere. Overall it’s a nice place to chill.
Lovely Harvester and location! We came here for breakfast, and it’s very convenient to park and go on a walk after your meal. Members of staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a great experience! Thanks for having us.
My wife sent fish cakes back deep fried cut into and grease just oozed out they did refund us as she couldn't eat it. Mine was ok but not great some parts of my mixed grill I left as horrible, showed the management my egg , wife said there is no quality control ! Look at this he did apologize. Was going to have dessert but such a long wait to order. The Windsor one used to be good but we won't return. Money is getting tight for everyone and if I am going to eat out , I will go where I know we will get good food
The food was exceptional. The building is vary beautiful. They have free car park, which is a bonus. The service from the staff was very good and attentive. Affordable price. They gave as a table by the window, overlooking the road and the Thames River. Beer was good but mojito didn't like it that much, they do not put mint leaves on it, just mint cordial, which was too sweet for my taste. They did not have most of the cocktails advertise on the drinks menu.
Lovely place to eat, river views are amazing. Previously had the breakfast, this time we had dinner which was lovely. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Set in a lovely location with lots of history, would recommend.
A nice restaurant with food for the budget conscious. Unlimited breakfast options as well. Can be noisy. Plentiful parking with a terrific view of the Thames if you're seated by the window.Food: 4/5
Went for a meal with the family group of four, at the time there was an offer on which was 50% off all main meals for upto six people. Our server was attentive and fun. The venue was chilled and filled with others enjoying the good food. The menu had changed from the last time I had visited but there was everything to suit everybody Kid-friendliness: As with most harvesters they have kids menus for both food and dessert and high chairs for those that need it Parking: Ample free parking for restaurant goers.
Location and the ambiance of this place is extremely pleasant. Very well presented inside out. Plenty of parking available and is right across the road and Thames. Had a great time with friends and nice walk around Thames.
Food was excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Had to wait a little for our table, but this was our fault as the ‘gizmo’ for letting us know when the table was ready was in my son’s pocket, hence we didn’t hear it. Not a problem for us though. Perhaps advise customers to leave on table in front of them, which most probably would do. A very enjoyable time. Parking: A little narrow for me as I’m disabled and need the door open wide. the allocated bays were full. Not a problem this time as my son parked for me.
Has been my "local" Harvester for over a decade even though I now live in East Sussex!, the food has always been fantastic, never had a bad/incorrect meal there. They have a really solid line of cooks who obviously know their craft very well! Servers and managers have always been really polite and kind, and the atmosphere is lovely especially if you get seating where you can watch the Thames! There's ample parking with a handful of disabled bays right next to the main path which leads to the restaurant.
