Wonderful evening out. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The food was great, we went as a group of 6 and every one really enjoyed their meals so much I didn't get to take photos. Mom's quite fussy, but even she was pleased. We were so comfortable, we had cocktails and even desserts, everything was beautifully presented. Was offered recyclable containers for any left overs. Such a warm environment with low music in the background. We will definitely return!
We needed a quick lunch as we had an appointment to keep. Food was ready quickly and really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasn't overly busy for a Saturday lunchtime. Ice cream looked delicious but sadly we did not have enough time. Will definitely come back.
Pre booked expecting it to be busy on a Friday with the Christmas market, it was reasonably busy but unnecessary. Service was good and friendly but wife struggled being sat on high stool near the bar. Side was a little disappointing in portion size, and was surprised when I was served my pizza without a cutter, then when I asked was told, they're all in the pot wash at the moment. Pizza was lovely as was the wifes dish and portion size on main was very generous, never got offered the extra cheese which was a shame. Atmosphere inside was nice but was a little off put by staff splitting the tips in view behind the desert bar‍ Would eat here again but maybe be a bit more insistent on where were sat and getting what's expected from prior visits.
Mamma Mia !! A really decent place for a decent Italian food at a decent price. To be honest, some items could be better but overall no complaints. The location and decor makes up for everything. Nice big place with lots of seating available and great customer service. Must try - Carbonara, and Arancini balls.
An Italian style restaurant in the middle of Birmingham’s New Street Booked a table on a busy Sunday afternoon during the “German Market “ Christmas festival in Birmingham After 10 minutes our order for food and drinks was taken and after about an hour both came out at the same time . The food is only ordinary and the service friendly but slow Would I go back again Not really
definitely a bad experience. I’ve ordered a Lasagna, the waiting time was too long and when the order arrived it barely had 1 layer and it all bad the texture of mud in a plate the taste was kind of acceptable, but not long after I started to have tummy aches, probably because of the tomato sauce that wasn’t properly cooked. I couldn’t finish my food and when I asked if they could give a discount or take the dish out of the bill which was clearly unfinished, barely started they said no. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, there’s many other places around that you could go and waste £20
Had the mini calzones as a starter and for £3.99 a portion of 2 were not worth it. I ate them in 2 bites. Very stingy portioning. However the ‘Pollo Saltimbocca’ was a very nice dish and recommended. Friend had a 241 code via email sign up so this made up for the small portion control!
Friendly service. Accommodated us as a walk in had been prepared to book the next day. Food sublime, beautifully cooked and presented. More than happy to box up what we couldn't finish, into a recyclable take away container. Merlot red wine smooth and fruity. Staff efficient, organised and professional. Only saw three members of staff on the floor, they never stopped. Well organised team.
Tasty food and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We went with friends and had a good lunch . Several items not available but plenty of other items to choose from . Food was hot and fresh but our fries were cold and come out 15 min after our mains . Other than that all was great and would go again .
The service was really good, they were attentive and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the food.
