Story

We love the great outdoors – gardening truly feeds the soul, all that fresh air, vibrant colours, tasty organic veg, not to mention BBQ’s and a cheeky glass of wine in the sunshine with friends! We have a simple purpose; to help, support and supply you with everything you need to make your garden look amazing, in a relaxed and enjoyable shopping environment.

Based on next to the A5 and A43 in Towcester, Northamptonshire our family run Garden Centre has been selling plants, garden supplies and giving advice to keen gardeners for over 20 years.

In our 200 square metre plant area and shop, we stock a wide range of plants, trees, shrubs, herbaceous, roses and anything else you want to put in your garden. Our popular gift shop sells cards, books, presents and clothing and our gardening shop stocks tools, chemicals and fertilizers, bird care, seeds and Christmas decorations in December.

All that shopping is bound to work up an appetite, so we’ve taken care of that too with our popular Plantation Café. Thinking of keeping chickens? Come and talk to our experts at the Poultry Centre.

Visited Bell Plantation Garden Centre and it’s honestly one of the best garden centres I’ve ever seen. They have a huge variety of garden products, excellent plants,wide variety of flowers collection and plenty of garden containers. You’ll also find some adorable animals like hens and peacocks, which adds a lovely charm to the place.nnIt’s definitely a must‑visit spot. You’ll need at least 2 hours to explore and shop comfortably. There’s also a cosy café inside the garden centre, perfect for a quick bite or a short break during your visit.nnThe place is well organised, enjoyable to walk around, and has ample parking, which makes the whole experience even smoother.nnHighly recommended for garden lovers and casual visitors alike.
A magical Christmas preview event with a seasonal atmosphere and beautiful displays - as for the mince pies, they were delicious. Bell Plantation is the best garden centre I have ever visited, all year round. Excellent, thank you to the team for making every visit such a pleasure
The chickens were truly a highlight. Nice for a wander round, we went on a Friday morning and it was super busy - I can only imagine weekends are even more so. Also found a pair of 100% wool socks for £25 which aren't easy to find generally.
We visited the cafe as a large family group, who enjoyed a perfect Afternoon Tea. The chef had prepared large sharing platters of food, which looked and tasted amazing. A great mixture of sweet and savoury. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were all very pleasant, working so well as a team. We highly recommend the cafe at Bell Plantation.
Delicious food and service, and followed by an interesting talk by Nick Bailey.nI requested a different dessert from the sugary choices on offer and was accommodated nicely.
