Story

Welcome to Bell & Felix!
We’re proud to offer an independent alternative to the people of the Southside of Glasgow. We are a new Scottish café with a wee Italian influence. We are a local business, run by local people, one of whom grew up a street away, so it is a bit of a return to our roots!
The café is inspired by the great Scottish cafés of our youth and our travels around the world visiting lots of different places with great innovative, quality food and drink. We aim to bring this to Glasgow with excellent, professionally made espresso coffee and loose leaf teas, freshly prepared cakes, seasonal fresh foods & soups, and service standards that are based on genuine hospitality. We are trying to source all our ingredients as locally as we can.
We love food and believe the quality and simplicity of the ingredients is everything. Our menus are based on seasonal produce that our chef’s lovingly turn into new and outstanding creations. We want our food to be fresh, colourful, local with fantastic flavour. If it doesn’t look good, taste good, smell good, feel or sound good, it won’t be allowed in!
We have set out to create a fun, friendly, relaxed and lively atmosphere for all our customers, big and little, to enjoy a snack, coffee, brunch or glass of wine.
Our warm friendly staff takes pride in excellent customer service which underpins everything that we do and our aim is to continually improve and to set the bar higher. We aim to be responsive to the needs of our customers but also to push boundaries and introduce them to new products and concepts.
