We had a wonderful cosy dinner here on a chilly December evening. Staff was absolutely lovely and very personable. They were very attentive and accommodating of my dietary requirements which I really appreciated. The food was so so delicious. Not a flaw to be found in either the quality, quantity, flavours, presentation, or anything really. Menu is very original and has innovative twists on some classic dishes. The ambiance is intimate, warm and cosy. Highly recommend!
Lovely local restaurant/coffee shop in Pollokshields. Food and service are superb, great portions... recommend the haggis bonbons, crab fish cakes and salads.

Menu good, prices about average, staff very friendly and efficient, gents utility tight, hard to find a parking spot but being on a main road you can't expect a car park. Since I wrote the about review ollie's has had a interior face lift I might add for the better everything else is as it was. By visiting you can't go wrong.
We had an itison voucher for 4 that was a gift from my sister. Have been twice before to ollies, we thought we could confidently advise on type and portion of food offered by ollies. Boy were we in for a surprise. Food was absolutely bang on on flavour, however the portion size was so much bigger than when we were there previously. The crab and prawn dumpling soup was so flavoursome but so filling, served with beautiful seeded bread. The fresh squid was amazing, served with a citrus mayonnaise. The mains of seafood linguine was fantastic. The lamb shank was so tender and was served with crushed new potatoes in a Moroccan chickpea sauce. The moist perfectly roasted chicken supreme breast of chicken, served with black pudding, purple sprouting broccoli ,crushed new potatoes and carrots. Everything was amazing

Great food but a restricted menu since there's no halal option. Really confusing since it's a massive asian areas who would love this kind of thing. Great staff and service otherwise. Shame about the varietym
This is one of my favourite places in the area in terms of decor, comfort and menu, but the service is always slow. Most of the staff are super nice but there's a couple of them who were really snippy with me and my family when we last visited. It was a busy day and they clearly didn't want to give us a table and clearly were unhappy to see children with us even though it has a child's menu....
I'm a long term frequent customer and fan of Ollie's. Our fish and chicken dishes this evening were absolutely delicious but after the main course things went downhill. We'd booked a table a month in advance for 6pm but after our meal ...at 7.30 pm our waiter suggested that because there were no other diners...we might want to decide if we really wanted coffee as it took a long time for them to clean the machine out and they'd really have to close soon!! We went on to have a hurried desert ....a completely tasteless panna cotta and a rushed coffee and were ushered out before 8.30. I completely understand restaurants are having a really hard time right now but this was not a pleasant dining experience and a great disappointment. If they felt they didn't have enough bookings I'd rather they'd just cancelled mine rather than making our party feel as if we should leave after our main course.
Service was good, although felt we waited quite long to place our first order. Decor is lovely and has a great ambience. I would come back. My only real criticism of our visit, and I'm sure this isn't a regular thing, was the number flies in the restaurant. So many blue bottle flies buzzing around us. Apart from this it would of been 5 stars.
