The Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Went as part of a coach party. The hotel is decorated and furnished to an excellent standard. Lots of nice little "extras". e.g. fruit in the room, souvenir notebook to bring home, fridge in room with replenished fresh milk each day in a little bottle (no fiddling little plastic cartons) selection of teas. Wonderful breakfast & evening meal. Entertainment in the evening. 10 out of 10. Going back in October, Hotel situated in a pleasant quiet road opposite to park but close to the town centre.

Excellent 4 star rated hotel. I am a single traveller and normally the rooms I am given you can't swing a cat in. At the Belgrave Sands I had a double bed and the shower was enormous. Tea, chocolate and coffee with fresh milk in a bottle, non of this UHT milk. An iron, ironing board and a fan were also in the room. Meals are exceptional 7.30 -9.00am for breakfast and 6-9 pm for evening meal. The evening entertainment was not to my taste. A pianist played from 6.30-8.30, then a singing act took over until 11. Too much old music and not enough up to date stuff. The staff are all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I did not take advantage of the spa facilities but many people did and seemed happy. All in all an excellent hotel and one I would visit again.

Stayed as overnight guest, ample parking, very comfortable and modern hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Gym small with limited equipment, pool small, steam and sauna but no jacuzzi. Overall reasonably priced and well located. Would definitely consider stopping over again. Well done.

Very nice clean, comfortable, modern room. Spa small but clean and as expected for the size of the hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was really exceptional.....we will return.

Great hotel, plenty of parking food also very good (if you can understand the menu) had to ask a few times what was a certain dish).Room well decorated and you even get a pair of slippers. 10 minutes walk approximately to town mostly flat, but there's a bus stop nearby. Not tried the pool but looks very nice.
