Story

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. Just up the road from Southport, & a stone's throw from Blundells&s Beach & Martin Mere we're the ideal location for gatherings large & small

Had a birthday meal here tonight! Food lovely and staff were great. Chicken and ribs were superb as ever and the steak, ribs and prawn combo also very good. Starters of mushrooms and loaded potato skins both very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointing visit to an old favourite. Staff we encountered were unhelpful. They didn't have a drink I requested but recommended I try something else which was a poor product and an expensive one. A side order in our meal never arrived despite us reminding them but they didn't charge us for it at least. They did get our food bill wrong however and seemed they were hoping we wouldn't realise we were being overcharged. Used to love this place but won't be hurrying back

Second visit since refurbishment and have to say huge improvement on service and quality of service. Used to be waiting ages for food but no longer. Hope it continues Update 9 April 2018 same as last year! Brilliant service as always

Totally underwhelming experience. Ordered smothered chicken. Chicken dry, poorly presented and topped with a processed cheese slice. Supposed to have been served with triple cooked chips. Far from this and for a meal priced over £11 not great in any way. We also ordered beer battered onion rings. Presented swimming in grease and lacking in taste and beer batter. Son ordered from childrens menu. Chose burger with 2 mini corn on cobs. Burger came. Not a piece of lettuce or tomato and one tiny piece of corn on the cob. Just a poor experience, not the cheapest either. Pretty sure everything just frozen and warmed up to order on site! I shall be spending my money elsewhere in the future!

Great steak. Porterhouse steak was amazing, cooked perfect and 50% off main meal offer made it even better ! Recommend the Black Forest trifle with a rather good Costa Coffee too. Service not bad but it was very busy on a Saturday night and regulars appeared to be given priority at the bar.
