Story

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. Service was awful incredibly slow. Booked a table and still waited ages to be seated. Then the food took nearly an hour to arrive after being ordered. Ordered a mixed grill with a medium rare steak that was cold, rare and chewy when it did show up. Chicken was cold too. Sausages was flavourless. Gamon was okay. Overall an awful experience and wont be coming back. Apart from the awful food and slow service waitress was friendly.nnOther points to note: the toilets are absolutely disgusting.
We came in for a meal today and we really enjoyed it. Sue was the lovely lady who served us, we enjoyed having a laugh and chat but overall Sue made sure we had everything we needed and checked that everything was good. We will be coming back.
Daisy and Tom were amazing and attended to all our requirements. My son is autistic and his food touched other foods they were patient, caring and supportive of his needs. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly and so helpful. They both deserved a big bonus and recognition for their hard work and dedication to ensuring that diners can get the best experience. Thank you Daisy and Tom your efforts are appreciated.
Wouldn't waste my time again.nThe only 3 staff were rushed off their feet. The manager, who was the only person we spoke to, was lovely. But, common sense says if you're doing unlimited breakfast where you have to order from a person what you want, then you need more than one staff to take the orders! This has to be a brewery/owner decision.nWe didn't have to wait to be seated and straight away saw how busy it was, a couple of empty tables with 1 waitress clearing them. We then waited 20mins and still no sign of anyone coming to take our order, so decided to walk out.nI will say there is a help yourself to hot and cold drinks and continental breakfast, so if that's all you want then you'll probably be happy. Although one of the juices was empty, but this could've been poor timing ‍
Children running and screaming everywhere one ran straight into my leg full pelt the parents did nothing other than laugh, my mum has a walking stick so lucky that did not happen to her. Breakfast was served with egg shell in, the waitress swapped it over but waited 12 mins by that time my family had finished eating there was more egg shell in this lot of eggs to and now I’ve done something bad to my tooth which I’m going to have to get dental treatment for. Shambles of a place went to go over to the manager to explain what had happened but found her bitching about other staff rather than working, do not reccomend. Bacon too underdone, everything else no flavour. What a way to spend a 65th birthday complete and utter shambles AVOID
