Enjoyed a nice meal here. Very busy and chaotic to start off with, though. Every table booked with reservations and a queue of people without one waiting to get a table. Bar was totally packed too. But I can understand because of the decent food and hospitality. Waitresses was happy and polite. Making good conversation with us both. Unfortunately forgot one of our starters but it was taken off the bill. Gladly would come back to eat if I was staying at the Premier Inn close by again.

As a vegetarian I would have been fine if I wanted several starters or a salad for my evening meal but otherwise there were 2 options both of which were less than inspiring both involving beans. Partner who is a meat eater was well catered for and enjoyed his meal, my bean burger was dry and tasteless with a bit of heat to cover up the bland. Rather wished I had ordered several starters as they were tasty. Service was fine but the place wasn't busy however, we were some what surprised to get the bill at the end which had items added to it that we hadn't had. The waitress was quick to remove them when we complained but I would strongly advise you check your bill before paying.

Had some really good family get togethers here. Nothing to much trouble. Lovely staff.

We order steaks rib eye and rump medium and medium to well done. Rib eye came dripping and raw sent back 20 minutes later return same steak still bloody and just stretched in directions when trying to cut with steak knife but would not cut. Chips had been thrown in again were over fried and looked disgusting. Rump steak didn't look like rump and no flavour like eating a leather sole of a shoe. Had come for a meal out and ended coming back home disappointed and hungry. Offered pudding decline. Told we didn't have to pay but thats not the point. Won't go there again. Spoilt are evening totally.
