Good food and decent selection on the menu however there always seems to be an unusually long wait for food to be brought out. Have been here on several occasions yet whatever the time of the day it's the same wait, it's almost as if they are cutting costs and not employing enough staff. I've even hired the function room for a birthday party and felt terribly let down, the orders were wrong and the small children were brought their dinners last instead of first! Such a shame as it's a nice place, even though it's had several management changes in the last few years nothing has changed. Unfortunately I cannot recommend nor will I be going back I've given them enough chances.

Yesterday was the worse experience ever. I don't recommend anyone to eat in this horrible place .First of all, I ordered hunters chicken, they brought me half chicen after 45 min to wait. Finally they brought me hunters chicken, but not at all how it was on the menu, instead full of onions. When I told the waitress, she didn't have any idea, and I told her nicely I want how is on the menu, hunters chicken ,with chips and tomato ,nothing more. She brought me chicken with chips ,no tomato ,but whatever. At the end ,we ordered dessert, waffles with ice cream and strawberries, of course they brought us without strawberries. Whatever. And they said they will send us £1 on the card for the first mistake with half chicken, instead they took us twice how much was our meal £14. It's not fair at all to go and eat there and they take us twice money from the card. Unfortunately we don't have the receipt, because she didn't give it to us ,but we have on the statement . I don't recommend .I will never eat there again and I will tell everyone to never go there .

Waitied over an hour for starter of chicken wings...had to ask for serviettes 5 times. 1 person behind the bar and 1 person serving. After an hour and a half we asked for a refund and left. Manager said its because a chef did not come in but that was my 3rd bad experience there. Will never go back!

Plonked food on table did not even mention cutlery when asked told it's over there however only 2 forks for 4 of us had to go ask again finally got some out which were cold so not just come out dishwasher!! Then food come corn on cob was grilled but felt like it came out of fridge !! Hour on still not cleared tables awaiting kids puddings !! Thank God I dontvlive around here there only seems to be 3 youngsters working no sign of a manager

Was ok. Was a little busy so a quoted 45 min wait for food turned into an hour. Food looked and tasted great except the chicken wings were way over done. Would probably come back and give it another try .
